NuoDB is a Massachusetts based database company created by co-founders Jim Starkey and Barry S. Morris, the latter of which is the company’s CEO. NuoDb successfully manages transactional database systems by blending characteristics of antique SQL databases with a more modern approach to deployment in the cloud.
NuoDb has gained a reputation as one of the most innovative firms in the industry. It has been deemed a “NewSQL” on several occasions. Both the Boston Business Journal and Mass High Tech named NuoDB as one of their Innovation All Stars in 2014. NuoDb is blazing the trail for the SQL firms of the future.
NuoDb is able to balance its one of a kind “elastically scalable database” and securely storing and maintaining important data objects. It supports MVCC that seek out and eliminates obstacles created by deadlocks within the database. With its approach it can pretty accurately predict the data in the cloud. With all that’s going on within the database it takes several processors working in unison to avoid bottlenecks.
NuoDb is a glimpse of what all cloud database companies will look like operate. The design of its cloud style elasticity was approved for patent in 2012.
